What does it cover?

UN R34 addresses liquid-fuel tanks and related vehicle approval under the prevention of fire risks. Part I covers vehicles in respect of tanks and specified installation conditions; Part III covers approval of a liquid-fuel tank as a separate technical unit. Product approval and the vehicle’s fuel-system layout are separate assessments.
