Before planning a change to a vehicle, identify the country’s applicable rules and the type of work involved. The vehicle’s registration status, and whether the modification is serial or individual, may affect which provisions need to be examined.
Different cases under Türkiye’s AİTM rules
AİTM lists serial modification type approval and individual modification approval as separate matters. It also covers individual complete and multistage vehicle approval and certain additional equipment procedures. Identify the relevant category for your project before starting.
The registration stage in Spain
Royal Decree 866/2010 governs modifications made after final registration. It treats changes before final registration separately, referring to their inclusion in type approval or to an individual approval route.
